Late one night, as I surfed through movies to watch, a particular one caught my attention. Titled “Me Before You”, and a poetic poster to go with it, i decided to watch it, only to kill time. By the end of the movie, I became a fan, and how!

Based on a novel by Jojo Moyes, Me Before You, is the story of Louisa Clark and Will Traynor, played by exceptional actors, breathing life into the well written characters. In a bid to help the quadriplegic Will Traynor, believe in living life again, Louisa gets helped instead, getting out of her shell she didn’t even know she was living in. As the two fall in love, the story highlights more on the essence of life and its colors, and the importance of living well, no matter how long you live, or where you do! My take away from the movie was to live simply, boldly and just live! You’ve got only one life after all.

I’d recommend everyone who’s into such genre of movies to watch it, and delve into the life insights it takes you through. Until then, here are some impressive quotes from the movie and the book, about life and love.

I wonder why it is, that reading is considered more nerdy, than cool. Personally, I’ve never felt cooler than with a book in my hand, and words in my mind.

As my reading picked up of late, I see welcome changes in me, that I wasn’t even looking for.
